Here you find trip reports from my overseas ventures.

Personally I think travel should encompass more than just birding and twitching. It should include all aspect of natural history and more in depth exploration of one or a few key sites with high biological diversity. It would be a better way to attain great photography and to find rare species. Some areas of natural beauty I visited 20 years ago have now lost most of their indigenous wildlife and plant species due to commercial development and human population pressures so conservation of nature is important to me

In recent years, I have arranged several group trips to countries such as India, Ethiopia, Malawi, Argentina & Peru. .The object of my trips was to visit remote, less developed areas of the tropics in order to view natural scenery and observe the local wildlife.
